Earlier tonight I purchased some movies on Google Play and I wanted to watch them on my iPhone and iPad. Unfortunately when I searched the App Store for Google Play Movies, only a Google Play app for Books came up. So I thought maybe the YouTube App would offer it since Google owns YouTube and runs their video services through it. But upon downloading and installing the app I didn't see a menu item. So I called Google's support and, although they said that they weren't sure if it was possible or not, if I navigated to YouTube.com, signed in and selected "Purchases" from the menu I could view them on my desktop (no duh support "specialist"). But that made me realize I didn't check one thing on the YouTube app on the iPad...
  1. Open the YouTube App and sign in.
  2. Select the icon that appears in the upper left.
    • The icon looks like three lines stacked on each other.
    • A new menu will expand from the left of your screen.
  3. At the top, you should see your photo and name, with an upward pointing arrow to the right of them. Select this to expand the hidden menu.
  4. You should see a "Purchases" menu item. If you click it you'll find your purchases and can watch them in the YouTube app.
